If you are travelling light or want to beat the queues at the airports, check the websites of your airline to see if they offer online check-in. You can usually choose your seat, print a boarding pass etc. Some airlines offer a baggage drop off where you simply take your bags, show the online booking forms and head to your departure gate. Here are some handy online check-in links:

Let’s talk traffic. Morning traffic to the Brisbane airport at peak hour (7am to 9.30am) can take 2-3 hours. If your check-in time coincides with the morning rush hour we would advise you to allow at least 2 hours travel time. Some mornings the traffic is ok and the journey takes a little over an hour however this is the exception, not the norm.
You can beat the queues at the airport by using your airline’s web check-in service which we have gathered together for you on our web check-in page.
The Maroochydore airport is home to Virgin Blue airlines and Jetstar. Check-in is usually an hour before your flight and road traffic is usually not an issue so allow half an hour travelling time.
The Maroochydore airport is also home to some great plane and helicopter charters for sight seeing.
